In 2003, Jerome Rubin, publisher of New York Naturally, Bay Area Naturally, and other Natural Pages books, founded Earthware Biodegradables. He believed that the time is now to work toward sustainable solutions to the major problems inherent in our "throw away" society. A successful "green revolution" will ultimately be defined by a fundamental shift in the way we all live and work – and we want to be part of the solution.

Our debut products include exclusive non-GMO wheat-based cutlery and corn-based cutlery. Both are compostable and are ideal alternatives to the petroleum-based plastic ware accumulating in our landfills and littering our landscape. In the coming months we will be adding more biodegradable, compostable, and recyclable products for the home and professional food service industry.
