Our cutlery meets U.S. government standards for biodegradation and can safely be composted, breaking down completely in as little as 45 days. It is heat resistant upwards to 160 degrees and excellent for hot foods, soups, chili, etc.*

Earthware Biodegradables^® GMO-Free Corn Cutlery is available in:

• Off-white Color
• Bulk cases of 1000 pieces each: Standard size forks, knives, spoons, and small spoons for ice cream, yogurt and sampling
• Retail packages – Packaging is made from 100% biodegradable wood cellulose and includes barcodes for easy inventory tracking. Four options are available:
  • 8 place settings (24 pieces total: 8 forks, 8 spoons, 8 knives)
  • 24 forks
  • 24 knives
  • 24 spoons

In the coming months we will be adding more biodegradable, compostable, and recyclable products for households and the food service industry.

*Of note: As Earthware^® Cutlery is designed to compost, it may get soft if left sitting in hot liquids above 155 degrees. It will harden back up immediately when it is exposed to the cooler air. It is not harmful, and will not break apart nor dissolve.
